President Erdoğan inaugurates Burhan Felek Athletics Stadium in Istanbul

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at the inauguration of Burhan Felek Athletics Stadium and Practice Halls in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul.

Referring to Burhan Felek Athletics Stadium and Practice Halls as one of the symbolic facilities of the Turkish sports, President Erdoğan said that the number of the athletics stadiums, which was 12 in 2002, has increased to 56 as of today across the country, and added: “We wholeheartedly believe in the principle that sports is for everyone. In this spirit, we work to ensure everyone has access to sports facilities.”
