President Erdoğan inaugurates Istanbul Cinema Museum

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated Istanbul Cinema Museum, one of the most important elements of the Beyoğlu Culture Road project.

Making a speech at the opening ceremony, President Erdoğan noted that Turkey is walking towards being a world leader in tourism, and said: “The better we protect and develop our historical and cultural assets, the more we win as a nation. This is also a necessity of our responsibility to conserve our civilizational richness and geographical heritage.”

It is one of Turkey’s primary responsibilities to put its cultural and artistic richness in the entire humanity’s service, stressed the President, noting that the star of Turkey shines growingly brighter in the world as a country visited by 52 million foreign tourists.

Stressing that the number of tourists visiting Turkey will further increase with the start of the normalization period after the pandemic, President Erdoğan stated: “Reservations for our country are already booming from every place that is lifting or easing travel restrictions.”
