President Erdoğan inaugurates July 15 Memorial Museum

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated the July 15 Memorial Museum, built at the Anatolian end of the July 15 Martyrs’ Bridge in Istanbul.

Addressing citizens at the inauguration, President Erdoğan said July 15 was one of the most important milestones in Turkey’s history of democracy, and that the Turkish people achieved that night a great victory which will be remembered for generations.

Wishing Allah’s mercy upon the martyrs of July 15, President Erdoğan, underscoring that conveying history to new generations in an accurate way is as important as making it, noted that history is not only the past of a nation, but also its guide to its future.
