Extending his heartfelt greetings and love to the friendly and brotherly people of Guinea, President Erdoğan said that today they were inaugurating not only a mosque but also a bridge of brotherhood connecting our hearts.
“I hope the mosque, the foundations of which were laid in 2023, will be auspicious for all Muslims,” President Erdoğan said. “In our belief, mosques are not only structures built with stone and mortar, but also with wisdom, faith and conscience. Built on a large area of 3,200 square meters, this edifice will be a symbol of the brotherhood between us. Designed so that 2,100 people can worship at the same time, our mosque impresses with its architecture, ornamentation and landscaping.”
“I congratulate everyone who contributed to the construction of the mosque from the project phase and financing to the construction of the mosque, especially the Albayrak Group,” President Erdoğan said. “I would like to thank all my brothers and sisters who took part in the project, from laborers to architects and engineers, and all the Guinean authorities who supported the construction of our mosque. With these thoughts, I hope that the call to prayer that will rise from the minarets of our mosque will bring peace and tranquility to the people in Guinea and further strengthen our brotherhood and solidarity.”
