President Erdoğan inaugurates Rize-Artvin Airport

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the opening ceremony of Rize-Artvin Airport.
Thanking President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party Devlet Bahçeli for attending the ceremony, President Erdoğan wished for Rize-Artvin Airport to lead to auspicious outcomes.
Underscoring that there were five airports built on seas in the world, two of which, including Rize-Artvin Airport, he noted were in Türkiye, President Erdoğan said: “This project, which I see as a symbol of the progress Türkiye has made over the past 20 years in development and particularly in air transport, is also a sign that neither mountains nor seas can stand in front of our determination to serve. Rize-Artvin Airport, which we have built in the challenging geography of the Eastern Black Sea Region, will also ease the transportation of our neighbor Georgia.”
