President Erdoğan inaugurates the newly-restored Başçarşı Mosque in Sarajevo
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated the Başçarşı Mosque, which was recently restored by the Directorate General of Foundations of Turkey, in Sarajevo, the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Also attending the opening ceremony at Başçarşı Square, which is described as the “heart of Sarajevo,” were Bosnian Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic and Grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein Kavazovic.
