President Erdoğan inaugurates Uzun Mehmet Mosque in Zonguldak

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan inaugurated Uzun Mehmet Mosque in Zonguldak as part of his programme in the city.

Delivering remarks at the inauguration, President Erdoğan voiced his hope that Uzun Mehmet Mosque will lead to auspicious outcomes for Zonguldak, Turkey and the Islamic world, and expressed his gratitude to all who contributed to the construction of the mosque.

Drawing attention to Turkey’s goals for 2023 and visions for 2053 and 2071, President Erdoğan said: “As a great country whose strength and responsibility are not confined to its own borders alone, Turkey will reinforce the bridge it has built from the past to the future and continue to march towards our goals.”
