President Erdoğan: Independence March is our common oath

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at a commemoration held for Mehmet Akif Ersoy and the centenary of the Independence March at Beştepe Nation’s Convention and Culture Center.

Underscoring that Turkey is the roof under which all the 84 million citizens shelter, President Erdoğan said: “Independence March is our common oath. These lands, under every inch of which a martyr is buried, are the common homeland of all of us.”

“As a nation that makes history, that closes and ushers in new ages, we will all together build our future. Firstly, we will inshallah achieve Turkey’s goals for 2023, and then carry our country to its 2053 and 2071 visions.”
