President Erdoğan: International investors’ interest in our country is gradually mounting
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered remarks following the Presidential Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Complex.
“WE WILL CONTINUE TO STRIVE IN ORDER FOR THE UN TO HAVE A FAIRER STRUCTURE”
Drawing attention to the accuracy, importance and vision of Turkey’s findings concerning its region and the world, President Erdoğan said: “Those, who in the past remained indifferent to our objections to the great number of crookedness in the global order, have today begun to voice the same approaches. We believe that our findings and proposals concerning the problems our country is directly faced with, terror and the migration issue in particular, will also resonate in the same vein very soon. Despite its structural deficiencies and all its weaknesses, we still see the United Nations as the most important platform that can resolve the shared problems of the humanity. Therefore, we will continue to strive in order for the United Nations to have a fairer, more inclusive and more sustainable structure with all its bodies, first and foremost the Security Council.”
“INTERNATIONAL INVESTORS’ INTEREST IN OUR COUNTRY IS GRADUALLY MOUNTING”
Also touching upon the meetings he held with Turkish businesspeople and the representatives of some U.S. firms during his visit to New York for the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, President Erdoğan noted: “Leaving behind the pandemic conditions and some setbacks it had previously, the Turkish economy is advancing towards its rightful place at a fast pace. Our business world’s investment appetite, production potential, export capability and employment capacity are rapidly increasing. Also, international investors’ interest in our country is gradually mounting. Obviously, what lies behind all these developments is the success we have achieved in the efforts we have exerted to thwart the hopes of those, who have sought to exclude Turkey from the global, political and economic systems, and resurrect the maladies of old Turkey.”
