President Erdoğan: It will no doubt disturb some circles that we protect the oppressed from Syria and Arakan to Africa and the Balkans
President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens at Justice and Development (AK) Party’s district rallies in Gaziosmanpaşa and Zeytinburnu, Istanbul.
“WE WILL NEVER BOW DOWN TO ISLAMOPHOBES”
Addressing citizens in the Gaziosmanpaşa district of Istanbul, President Erdoğan underscored that they will pay no heed to pressures, threats and blackmails, and that they will never bow down to Islamophobes, adding: “It will no doubt disturb some circles that we protect the oppressed from Syria and Arakan to Africa and the Balkans. Remnants of Crusaders will definitely be offended by the rise of Turkey.” Further stressing that just like in Turkey, they will continue to be the symbol of justice, peace and self-confidence in the entire world, too, President Erdoğan went on to say that they will keep defending the rights of Al-Quds and Gaza.

Delivering a speech at AK Party’s district rally in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul, later in the day, President Erdoğan made remarks on the upcoming local elections, and underlined that following March 31, there will be a four-and-a-half-year period of work, and that they will make the most of this period. President Erdoğan said: “Whatever the circumstances have been, we have never neglected to take the urgent steps in the fields of security and economy, and we will never do so. After the elections, we will achieve our country’s goals for 2023 by taking much faster and more decisive steps in these areas.”
