President Erdoğan, King Abdullah II of Jordan talk over phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with King Abdullah II of Jordan.

The call addressed the conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as regional and global matters.

Stating that Israel’s attacks on Iran constitute a provocation that could seriously harm the security of the region, President Erdoğan emphasized that the aggressive and lawless stance of Israel and the Netanyahu administration has become a source of instability and security concerns on a global scale.

Noting that the international community’s silence regarding the occupation and genocide in Palestine has enabled Israel’s aggression to reach this level, President Erdoğan pointed out that through its attacks, Israel has undermined efforts to resolve issues related to Iran’s nuclear program, and also emphasized that any potential nuclear leak resulting from Israel’s attacks would threaten civilians as well as regional and global health, and that Israel disregards this critical matter.

President Erdoğan underlined that our region cannot endure another crisis, stated that the continuation of nuclear negotiations is the only way to resolve the conflict and emphasized that these attacks should not be allowed to overshadow the Palestinian cause.
