President Erdoğan, Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Mishal Al-Sabah talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

The call addressed the conflict between Israel and Iran, as well as regional and global matters.

President Erdoğan stated during the call that Israel, by launching attacks against Iran, is jeopardizing the security of our region—one that cannot withstand a new war—and that the Netanyahu government has become a source of instability and security issues on a global scale. 

President Erdoğan emphasized that Israel’s attacks have also undermined the nuclear negotiation process between Iran and the United States, and that negotiations are the only viable way to resolve the dispute.

President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye and Kuwait have strongly reacted to Israel’s genocide in Gaza and its aggression in the region, adding that Israel is attempting to overshadow the genocide it is committing in Gaza through its attacks on Iran, which must not be allowed.
