President Erdoğan meets with Chancellor Merkel of Germany
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who is in New York to attend the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly, met with Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany.
Also present at the meeting at the UN Headquarters were Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum, Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan and Turkey’s candidate for President of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Volkan Bozkır, who currently serves as an MP from Istanbul and the Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey.
