President Erdoğan meets with participating leaders on the margins of the CICA Summit in Dushanbe
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held bilateral talks with participating leaders as part of his programme in Tajikistan’s capital Dushanbe where he attended the 5th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
Following the leaders’ session of the CICA Summit held in Tajikistan’s capital Dushanbe, President Erdoğan held tête-à-têtes with President Hassan Rouhani of Iran, President Xi Jinping of China, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan and Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar. Cumhurbaşkanı Erdoğan, Rusya Federasyonu Devlet Başkanı Vladimir Putin ile de Zirve’nin gerçekleştirildiği salonda bir süre görüştü. President Erdoğan also held a one-on-one with President Vladimir Putin of Russia at the Plenary Hall.
President Erdoğan also received Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia and Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah of Afghanistan respectively as part of his programme.
Accompanying the President during the meetings were Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak.
Having completed his program in Tajikistan with these meetings, President Erdoğan left for Turkey with the delegation accompanying him. The President was seen off at Dushanbe International Airport by Turkey’s Ambassador to Dushanbe Ali Rifat Köksal and other officials.
