President Erdoğan met with the families of the martyrs at the iftar program

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and First Lady Emine Erdoğan shared an iftar with martyrs’ families in Istanbul.
“WE HAVE GAINED THE SELF-CONFIDENCE TO TAKE HISTORIC STEPS TOWARD RESOLVING OUR ISSUES PEACEFULLY”
Stressing that today there is a Türkiye which is strong, effective and influential, President Erdoğan said: “Today there is a Türkiye whose star is shining and which is a source of hope not only for its own citizens but for all the innocents and victims across the world. Today there is a Türkiye where national income per capita exceeds 15 thousand dollars. Today there is a very different Türkiye which doesn’t fall for games but rather changes the game both in its region and beyond, disrupting the insidious and dirty games against it. We reached from a country incapable of making even its own rifles to a country that can produce its UAVs, aircraft, tanks, artillery, missiles, vessels and helicopters, paddling its own canoe.”
President Erdoğan stated: "Drawing courage from our security forces’ successes in the fight against terror that have entered the world’s literature, we have gained the self-confidence to take historic steps toward resolving our issues peacefully. We no longer watch the incidents from afar but rather steer them in favor of our country under the guidance of our state wisdom spanning thousands of years. Rejecting to be entrapped by others’ agendas, we determinedly implement policies that change the course of history in line with our priorities.”
“WE AIM TO MAKE A STRONG START TO THE CENTURY OF TÜRKİYE”
“It doesn’t befit a country like Türkiye to remain under the effect of a handful of fanatics or to ignore the opportunity to peacefully resolve a problem that has inflicted a heavy humanitarian and economic cost on our country for forty years. Rest assured that Türkiye is the most capable, strongest and resolute country not only in its region but also in the world in combatting terror both inside and outside its borders,” President Erdoğan pointed out.
Underlining that in the last 22 years Türkiye has upgraded to an upper league in every area from education to health, justice to security, industry to agriculture, President Erdoğan added: “We have already brought terror, the most important one of the remaining issues, to the brink of elimination within our borders. Eliminating the structures beyond our borders as well in the new process, we aim to make a strong start to the Century of Türkiye, which will also be the century of democracy, justice, prosperity, development, and, most importantly, brotherhood.”
