President Erdoğan, NATO Secretary General Rutte talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

The call addressed regional and global matters.

During the call, President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye has done everything possible to end the war between Ukraine and Russia and will continue to do its part, that it has had contacts with many leaders and representatives of international organizations, including the warring parties, and that a fair and lasting peace is possible.

Noting that Türkiye is making efforts to end wars in its region and worldwide, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of the international community contributing to Türkiye's efforts to stop wars and build peace.
