President Erdoğan: No Turkish military unit’s flag has ever fallen to the ground before its last single soldier has lost his life
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the flag-giving ceremony of the 41st Commando Brigade Command in Tekirdağ.
“EVERY SOLDIER OF THE TURKISH ARMED FORCES IS AN INSEPARABLE PART OF THE VICTORIES ACHIEVED”
“Thanks be to Allah, no Turkish military unit’s flag has ever fallen to the ground before its last single soldier has lost his life. Our ancestors, in this spirit, have achieved countless epic victories at every moment and on every front of our fight uninterruptedly going on for a thousand years across our homeland,” the President said and, addressing the commando units, continued as follows: “Today as well, you continue to repeatedly prove through the victories you achieve that you are the glorious grandchildren of such a glorious ancestry. I know no joy, no honor bigger than holding the title of Commander-in-Chief of such a military. Every member and every soldier of the Turkish Armed Forces is for sure an indispensable part of the victories achieved and the honor of achieving them. Our commando units in particular, which have always fought at the forefront throughout their history and showed the world what it means to scare the death itself, have a special place in the heart of our people.”
Further stressing that whoever has designed over the Turkish lands will encounter Turkey’s commandoes and will experience a bitter end at their hands, President Erdoğan wish success and victory to all members of the security forces fighting against terror both at home and abroad.
