President Erdoğan: Our ancestors’ traces can be found in a vast geography

 

President and Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at an education and consultation meeting on environmental and urban affairs held at the party headquarters in Ankara.

“We are members of a nation that developed and built up all the places it made itself a homeland across the world, and that has constantly advanced its culture and civilization,” President Erdoğan stressed during his address, and noted: “The traces left by our ancestors can be found in a vast geography extending from the Central Asia to the South Asia, from the Caucasia to the Balkans, and to the basins of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea. And what is more, our ancestors not only built cities, but also rendered all of them ours by having blown their own souls into them.”
