President Erdoğan: Our employment has risen by 2.7 million compared to the pre-pandemic period

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan received President Mahmut Asmalı of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen’s Association (MUSIAD) and members of the MUSIAD Board.

Speaking at the meeting held at Vahdettin Mansion in Istanbul, President Erdoğan drew attention to Türkiye’s growth rates and record export figures in 2021 despite the difficulties caused by the pandemic, and said: “In addition to the records in such areas as growth and exportation, our employment has risen by 2.7 million compared to the pre-pandemic period, which is a great achievement. During a period in which the entire world has been carrying out all their economic maneuvers in order to avert the employment crisis, we pursue much bigger goals.”
