President Erdoğan: Our experience of FETO and DAESH renders it necessary for us to carry out a sincere struggle against abuse of religion in all its forms
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered the closing address of the 6th Religious Forum.
“WE SHOULD CARRY OUT A SINCERE STRUGGLE AGAINST ABUSE OF RELIGION IN ALL ITS FORMS”
“Our experience of FETO and DAESH renders it necessary for us to carry out a sincere struggle against abuse of religion in all its forms,” said President Erdoğan, stressing that believers who learn the religion from reliable references would never rent their will and mind out to others or give credence to abusers of religion.
“Faultlines among Muslims are being further sharpened by the emphasis of racial, lingual and sectarian differences and, as a result, seeds of discord are being sown among the hearts that believe in the same religion, the same Prophet, the same holy book and that turn towards the same kiblah five times a day,” the President underlined.
