President Erdoğan: Our export volume has reached $170 billion

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the financial session of the General Assembly of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK).

“OUR EXPORT VOLUME HAS REACHED $170 BILLION”

Delivering a speech at the session, President Erdoğan recalled that as of the end of this year they have increased the export volume to $170 billion, which was $36 billion in 2002, the number of exporting companies to over 71 thousand from 31 thousand, and the capital of Turk Eximbank (Export Credit Bank of Turkey) to TL10 billion from TL3 billion.

Underlining that Turkey has reached these levels by acting with a spirit of mobilization from the President, bureaucrats and politicians to laborers, industrialists and merchants, President Erdoğan said: “So long as we walk toward same goals, share the same enthusiasm and clamp together like the bricks of a wall, Turkey will, with Allah’s permission, continue to make new histories.”
