President Erdoğan: Our healthcare system stands strong despite the increasing number of cases and intensive care patients

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a speech at the opening ceremony of Göztepe Prof. Dr. Süleyman Yalçın City Hospital in Istanbul.

Pointing to Turkey’s investments in healthcare, President Erdoğan, noting that the leap forwards Turkey has made in the field of healthcare along with other fields have better understood during the coronavirus pandemic, said: “Thanks to the strong healthcare infrastructure we have built, the malfunctions, which have become visible in many places, including developed countries, have been averted. Our healthcare system stands strong despite the increasing number of cases and intensive care patients.”

“TURKEY STANDS READY FOR ANY ALLOCATION PROVIDED THAT IT IS FAIR”

Also touching upon what he called the preposterous alliances formed and the unlawful attitudes displayed against Turkey, President Erdoğan stressed: “We say on every platform, at every talk and in every message of ours that Turkey stands ready for any allocation provided that it is fair. And we are sincere about it. The problem is that our counterparts disregard our rights and try to position themselves above us. However, they will understand that this is not the case, and that Turkey has the political, economic and military power to tear up the unscrupulous maps and documents sought to be imposed upon itself. They will understand it either by the language of politics and diplomacy or by the bitter experiences they will suffer on the ground. We hope it won’t be too late when they realize that there is no power which can stand in front of a nation which sees the struggle as well as its possible consequence, the martyrdom, as the biggest honor.”

“We, as Turkey and the Turkish nation, are prepared for any possibility and any outcome,” the President added.
