President Erdoğan: Our people will never allow anyone to undermine their democratic and economic achievements

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed via videoconference a ceremony for the completion of Silvan Dam embankment and for inauguration of Ergani Dam, Başlar Dam and Ergani Drinking Water Treatment Plant.

“Our people will never allow anyone to undermine their democratic and economic achievements,” President Erdoğan said. “We will continue to disappoint those who seek to make us suffer the pains, oppressions and losses experienced by many other countries and societies, by our neighbors in particular.”

Stating that Turkey has great advantages in the restructuring process of the global political and economic system, President Erdoğan noted that Turkey is now much closer to its goal of becoming one of the world’s top 10 economies.
