President Erdoğan: Our technological experience in Turkey’s Automobile project will act as a catalyst for numerous sectors

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated in a publicity event for Turkey’s Automobile and the official opening ceremony of the Informatics Valley in Gebze district of Kocaeli.

Delivering a speech during the publicity event, President Erdoğan said: “The Informatics Valley, built in an area of over 3 million square meters with 200 thousand square meters of indoors section, is our country’s largest technology development zone. We aim for a stronger foundation for tomorrow’s Turkey with this valley, which we established in order to carry our achievements in defense industry to other fields as well.”

“We advance on the path to becoming a strong and unrivaled global actor through our high-tech defense industry products,” President Erdoğan underscored, and stressed that Turkey will no longer be a mere market for new technologies, but will be a developer, producer and exporter of them to the entire world.

“TURKEY WILL HAVE THE ONE AND ONLY ORIGINALLY ELECTRIC SUV MODEL IN EUROPE”

President Erdoğan went on to say: “Our technological experience in Turkey’s Automobile project will clear the way and act as a catalyst for numerous sectors. Therefore, we cannot afford any mistakes here.”

Further noting that Turkey will produce a car with the largest-interior volume, highest-performance and lowest-cost in its segment, President Erdoğan said the zero-emission automobile will not pollute the environment, and that once the serial production begins, Turkey will have the one and only non-conventional and originally electric SUV model in Europe.
