President Erdoğan: Over the past 16 years, we have produced not words but actions, developed solutions and made Turkey grow by 3.5 times

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at an opening ceremony of the newly-built facilities in the Mamak district of Ankara.

Stating that the Mamak Municipality has realized 11 projects and built 169 parks in the district, President Erdoğan noted that among the facilities that the Municipality has built are the first phase of Üreğil People’s Garden, Ali Kuşçu Astronomy Center, several family and youth centers, Mavigöl Covered Market and Sports Complex and a number of mosques in different neighborhoods.

Stressing that they dream of carrying Turkey to 2023 first and then to 2053 and 2071, President Erdoğan pointed out that they strive to make Turkey one of the world’s top 10 economies. President Erdoğan said: “Over the past 16 years, we have produced not words but actions, developed solutions and made Turkey grow by 3.5 times. Our export volume is now 168 billion dollars, which was once 36 billion dollars.” The President further stressed that they also paid off the country’s $23.5-billion debt to the IMF in May 2013.
