President Erdoğan, President Aliyev of Azerbaijan talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations as well as regional issues.

Describing the progress made on the path to peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia as pleasing, President Erdoğan said that the lasting peace and stability environment aimed to be established would contribute to the calm and stability of the region as well.

President Erdoğan added that Türkiye will continue to provide the necessary support to that end.
