President Erdoğan, President Aliyev of Azerbaijan talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Azerbaijan bilateral relations as well as regional and global developments.

Extending his wishes for a speedy recovery regarding the forest fires, Azerbaijani President Aliyev stressed that Azerbaijan stands ready to provide all kinds of support and that a firefighting aircraft has already been assigned to participate in the ongoing firefighting efforts in Türkiye.

Thanking for the Azerbaijani people’s support, President Erdoğan noted that the brotherhood between Türkiye and Azerbaijan is further consolidated during such times.
