President Erdoğan, President Aliyev of Azerbaijan talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan.

The call addressed Türkiye-Azerbaijan relations as well as regional and global developments.

During the call, President Erdoğan expressed his wish for Azerbaijan's D-8 membership to be auspicious, stating that he closely follows the developments regarding the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia and voiced the expectation that lasting stability and prosperity in the South Caucasus could be achieved with the establishment of peace.
