President Erdoğan, President el-Sisi of Egypt talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Egypt bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues.

Drawing attention to the importance of Türkiye and Egypt acting in coordination in matters concerning the region, President Erdoğan noted that the two countries working together would be beneficial in order for the genocide, which has restarted in the region after Israel has broken the ceasefire reached in Gaza, to immediately end, and for permanent ceasefire and peace to be established.

Stressing that Türkiye will continue to stand by the Palestinian people and to send humanitarian aid supplies to Al Arish Port, President Erdoğan added that they are grateful for Egypt’s support. President Erdoğan wished Eid Mubarak to President el-Sisi.
