President Erdoğan, President Emmanuel Macron of France talk over phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Emmanuel Macron of France.
The call addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and France as well as regional and global matters.
President Erdoğan stated during the call that increased dialogue between the two countries would contribute to relations in a positive way and that Türkiye and France have the potential for cooperation in many areas, particularly in the defense industry.
Noting that the suspension of the European Union's sanctions against Syria is highly felicitous, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of completely lifting them in the new period and said that Türkiye will maintain its support for Syria without interruption.
President Erdoğan pointed out the necessity of initiating work for preserving the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel and for a permanent solution.
