President Erdoğan, President Jae-myung of South Korea talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Lee Jae-myung of South Korea.

The call addressed the Türkiye-South Korea bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues.

President Erdoğan congratulated Mr. Jae-myung on his election as President.

Expressing his hope to take joint steps to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Türkiye and South Korea in this new term, President Erdoğan also underlined the potential for cooperation in many areas, including nuclear energy, artificial intelligence, green energy, and the defense industry. President Erdoğan invited the President of South Korea to visit Türkiye.
