President Erdoğan, President Maduro of Venezuela talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Venezuela bilateral relations and regional issues.

During the conversation, President Erdoğan noted that they closely follow developments in the region, that Türkiye believes issues can be resolved through dialogue, and that this position is expressed on every platform.

President Erdoğan also stated that it is important to keep dialogue channels between the United States and Venezuela open, and that Türkiye hopes tensions will ease as soon as possible.
