President Erdoğan, President Putin of Russia talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Vladimir Putin of Russia.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Russia bilateral relations as well as regional and global matters.

President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye works to achieve ceasefire in Gaza and secure the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.

Noting that diplomatic initiatives should gain momentum to end the Ukraine-Russia war with a just and lasting peace, President Erdoğan said that Türkiye will continue its efforts for peace.

President Erdoğan also wished happy birthday to Russian President Putin.
