President Erdoğan, President Putin of Russia talk over phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Vladimir Putin of Russia.
The call addressed the Türkiye-Russia bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues.
Stating that the clashes following the withdrawal of Syrian security forces from Suwayda pose a threat to the entire region, President Erdoğan underlined the importance of Israel not violating Syria's sovereignty.
President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye aims to ensure stability and security in Syria and to support the country in recovering as soon as possible.
Highlighting the importance of initiating the third round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye will continue to host the talks in Istanbul once the parties agree upon suitable dates.
