President Erdoğan, President Putin of Russia talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Vladimir Putin of Russia.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Russia bilateral relations, the Russia-Ukraine war as well as regional and global issues.

President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye will continue its efforts for the termination of Russia-Ukraine war with a fair and lasting peace.

President Erdoğan stressed that Türkiye, as was the case in the past, stands ready today as well to contribute to all kinds of diplomatic initiatives and plans that would facilitate the direct contact of the parties and pave the way for lasting peace in the region.
