President Erdoğan, President Radev of Bulgaria talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Rumen Radev of Bulgaria.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Bulgaria bilateral relations as well as regional and global issues. 

Noting that the relations between Türkiye and Bulgaria have deepened with the important steps taken in all areas, President Erdoğan drew attention to the ongoing efforts to expand the cooperation in defense industry and energy.

Stating that efforts continue to end the war between Ukraine and Russia, President Erdoğan said that Bulgaria’s sensitive policies on this matter are being closely followed, and that Türkiye endeavors to bring the parties together in Istanbul for the establishment of peace in the region. 

President Erdoğan also congratulated President Radev on his upcoming birthday.
