President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates.
The call addressed relations between Türkiye and the United Arab Emirates, regional and global issues, as well as the latest situation in Syria and Palestine.
During the call, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of establishing a Syria where different ethnic and religious groups live in peace and the need to ensure unity in the country.
President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye cannot accept the PKK/YPG terrorist organization operating in Syria being seen as the representative and interlocutor of the Kurds in the region and that it is necessary to prevent DAESH from taking advantage of the chaos in the area and to stop Israel from exploiting the current situation to undermine the new process in Syria.
President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye will continue to strive for the massacre in Palestine to end as soon as possible.
