President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia.
The call addressed Türkiye-Somalia relations, the tension between Somalia and Ethiopia, and regional and global developments.
During the call, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of cooperation between Türkiye and Somalia.
Pointing out the continuation of Türkiye's efforts to settle the tension between Somalia and Ethiopia, President Erdoğan stated that concrete results are expected to emerge in the second round of talks scheduled to take place in Türkiye to achieve reconciliation between the two countries.
