President Erdoğan, President Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Somalia relations as well as regional and global matters. 

Expressing Türkiye’s support for Somalia’s vision of development through democracy, President Erdoğan stated that the support extended to Somalia in its fight against terrorism will continue to grow.

Noting that Türkiye’s solidarity with Somalia in the fields of energy and fisheries will continue, President Erdoğan emphasized that cooperation in these areas holds promise.

President Erdoğan also congratulated President Mohamud of Somalia on the upcoming Eid al-Adha.
