President Erdoğan President Stubb of Finland talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Alexander Stubb of Finland.

The call addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Finland, as well as regional and global matters.

Stressing that Türkiye is fully committed to deepening cooperation with Finland, President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye will continue working to develop relations in many areas, particularly in the defense industry and counter-terrorism.

President Erdoğan stated that Türkiye continues its efforts to end the war between Ukraine and Russia through a just and lasting peace and added that Türkiye expects Russia to accept the ceasefire call.

Pointing out that Israel's renewed attacks in Gaza are unacceptable, President Erdoğan voiced that the international community must finally say 'stop' to Netanyahu's genocide policy and emphasized the importance of restoring the ceasefire as soon as possible.
