President Erdoğan, President Tebboune of Algeria talk over phone

President Erdoğan congratulated President Tebboune on his success in the presidential elections in Algeria and his re-election as President with a higher percentage of votes. Describing the election results as an indication of the Algerian people’s support for the steps taken over the past five years, President Erdoğan stated that Algeria’s stability and prosperity will further strengthen in the new period, and expressed his belief that the Türkiye-Algeria bilateral relations will continue to develop in every field in a manner befitting the bonds of brotherhood between the two countries.

Inviting his Algerian counterpart to Türkiye, President Erdoğan said that Türkiye appreciates and supports the efforts Algeria exerts for the Palestinian cause as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, and that the two countries will increasingly continue their efforts to stop the attacks on the oppressed Palestinian people under Israeli oppression.
