President Erdoğan, President Vučić of Serbia talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Aleksandar Vučić of Serbia.

The call addressed the Türkiye-Serbia relations as well as regional and global matters. Noting that the friendship and solidarity between our two countries grow stronger, President Erdoğan voiced Türkiye's wish for a new government to be formed in Serbia as soon as possible, and for peace and stability to be maintained. 

President Erdoğan also stated that they will continue to enhance bilateral relations with the new government. President Erdoğan expressed his expectation for the joint efforts, aimed to increase areas of cooperation between our two countries, particularly in defense industry, to yield fruits soon. 

President Erdoğan also conveyed his get well wishes with regard to the accident President Vučić had in his official car on February 8. 

President Vučić wished President Erdoğan a happy birthday.
