President Erdoğan, Prime Minister Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia talk over phone
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali of Ethiopia.
The call addressed the Türkiye-Ethiopia bilateral relations, as well as the regional and global developments.
During the call, President Erdoğan stated that the ties between the two countries are growing stronger by the day.
Pointing out that Türkiye continues its endeavors to resolve the tension between Somalia and Ethiopia, President Erdoğan stated that Ethiopia’s actions to address Somalia’s concerns about unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity would help facilitate the resolution of the process.
Expressing that Israel continues to commit a massacre in Gaza, President Erdoğan noted that Ethiopia’s support of the Palestinian cause and position on the side of human conscience would contribute to the efforts of the international community toward long-lasting peace.
