President Erdoğan, Prime Minister Meloni of Italy talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni of Italy.

The call addressed bilateral relations between Türkiye and Italy, as well as regional and global developments. 

President Erdoğan stated during the call that Türkiye stands ready to make every contribution, including hosting negotiations, to end the war between Ukraine and Russia through a fair and lasting peace. 

Noting that the window of opportunity that has opened up should not be missed, President Erdoğan emphasized the importance of boosting efforts to achieve peace.
