President Erdoğan, Prime Minister Pashinyan of Armenia talk over phone

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia.

The call, held at the request of the Armenian side, addressed the peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

President Erdoğan congratulated Prime Minister Pashinyan on the agreement reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Noting that the will displayed for peace is valuable in terms of tranquility in the region, President Erdoğan stressed that this step taken should now be translated into concrete actions.

Stating that the talks will continue at a technical level to carry forward the normalization process between Türkiye and Armenia, as well, President Erdoğan added that efforts will be maintained in this regard.
