President Erdoğan, Prime Minister Starmer of the United Kingdom talk over phone

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with Prime Minister Keir Starmer of the United Kingdom.
The call addressed the Türkiye-UK bilateral relations as well as regional and global matters.
President Erdoğan stated that this year’s session of the United Nations General Assembly was fruitful in advancing the two-state solution in Palestine.
Congratulating Prime Minister Starmer on the UK’s recognition of the State of Palestine, President Erdoğan said it was a historic development that UN Security Council members such as the UK and France recognized Palestine.
President Erdoğan added that the momentum that emerged in support of Palestine should be preserved and that the Netanyahu government should be stopped through measures beyond diplomatic pressure.
