President Erdoğan returns home

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has returned to Ankara following the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit, organised jointly by the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Arab League, which was held in Doha, the capital of Qatar.

At Esenboğa Airport, President Erdoğan was welcomed by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Ankara Governor Vasip Şahin, and other officials.

Accompanying President Erdoğan were First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan, Director of National Intelligence Organisation İbrahim Kalın, Presidency's Head of Communications Burhanettin Duran, Chief Advisor to the President on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç, as well as AK Party Deputy Chairman and Head of Health Policies Prof. Halit Yerebakan.
