President Erdoğan’s message on 81st anniversary of deportation of Ahıska Turks

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a post on his NSosyal account on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the deportation of Ahıska Turks.

In his message, President Erdoğan said:

“We still feel in our hearts the pain of the deportation of nearly one hundred thousand Ahıska Turks from their ancestral lands on November 14, 1944. On the 81st anniversary of this tragic deportation, I pray for Allah's mercy upon our kinsmen who lost their lives, and I share the sorrow of our Ahıska Turk brothers and sisters.”
