President Erdoğan’s Message on Alaska Summit

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan shared a message on his social media account regarding the talks held in Alaska between President Donald Trump of the United States and President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation.

In his message, President Erdoğan said:

"The talks held in Alaska between President Trump of the United States and President Putin of the Russian Federation have brought new momentum to efforts aimed at ending the Russia–Ukraine war.  We welcome the Alaska Summit and hope that this new process, with the participation of President Zelenskyy of Ukraine, will lay the foundations for lasting peace. Türkiye stands ready to contribute in every possible way to the establishment of peace."
