President Erdoğan’s message on Easter

 

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan congratulated Christian citizens on Easter with a message.

President Erdoğan stated:

"I congratulate our Christian citizens of various churches and denominations on Easter. As members of a civilisation rooted in respect and love, we place great importance on ensuring that all our citizens, who have made Anatolia a land of peace for thousands of years, can freely live according to their own religions, cultures, and traditions. I hope that the spirit of peace and love that Easter brings to humanity as a symbol of unity, brotherhood and sharing will always remain with us. With these sentiments, I once again congratulate all Christians, particularly our Christian citizens, on the occasion of Easter, and I wish them peace and well-being."
